Visit our new website as we build it Our Mission The mission of The Young Gymnast is to provide a fun, as well as a safe environment while learning the fundamentals of gymnastics. Gymnastics is a wonderful sport that facilitates strength, flexibility, and coordination. The Young Gymnast is one of the few recreational gymnastics facilities in Northeast Columbia. We strive to provide your child with physical fitness along with gross motor skills. We also wish to help your child gain confidence as well as build friendships with the staff and other students.

THE YOUNG GYMNAST Trial Classes: A student who has never taken gymnastics classes can try one class IF a spot is available. If you decide to enroll in our program, the trial class will count as the first class. If you do not enroll in our gymnastics program, you will not be charged for the trial class. School portraits will be April 26 from 10-4. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Directions The Young Gymnast is located in the Columbia Metropolitan Area, which makes us convenient for anyone who resides in the Columbia area, including Blythewood, Pontiac, and Elgin. Directions are as listed: *From I-20 (going towards Florence via Columbia) take the Spears Creek Church Rd exit.Turn left off the exit. Take the second road on your left, which is Pontiac Business Center Drive. There is an Arnolds Cleaners on the corner. The Young Gymnast is in the 3rd building on your right. *From Two Notch Road (going toward Lugoff-Elgin) turn right onto Spears Creek Church Road. Keep going until you pass Pontiac Elementary School on your right. Pontiac Business Center Drive is the next road past the school. You will see Capone's and Arnold's Cleaners.
